Hedin Parts inaugurates and celebrates a successful start with a new state-of-the-art warehouse system
Hedin Parts, a distributor and wholesaler of spare parts, consumables, and accessories in the automotive industry in Europe, proudly announces that on January 29, they inaugurated the advanced and automated warehouse management system AutoStore from Element Logic. This strategic initiative is part of Hedin Parts' growth journey and their commitment to enhance logistics efficiency and optimize spare parts supply.

Strategic investment in automated warehouse management
In their strategic effort to handle the growing demand for a comprehensive range and increase warehouse capacity, Hedin Parts has invested in the automated warehouse management system AutoStore from Element Logic. They have also expanded their range of spare parts with several prominent car brands over the past year.

In addition to the installation of AutoStore, which began in the fall of 2023, Hedin Parts has also carried out extensive renovations of large office spaces at their headquarters and renewed the facade of the central logistics and distribution facility in Nyköping.
AutoStore - a cutting-edge solution
Through AutoStore, with 27 robots handling 40,000 bins, Hedin Parts will increase its warehouse efficiency. The AutoStore warehouse management system is controlled by intelligent software where robots perform optimized warehouse management, minimizing picking times and increasing productivity. For Hedin Parts, this enables an impressive capacity of 950 order lines per hour, facilitating more efficient deliveries to customers across Europe.
