Orio Parts and Logistics on the march
Orio AB reports an operating result of MSEK 1 (5) for the period January – March 2017. Net sales for the period amounted to MSEK 185 (209), a decrease by 11 percent compared to the corresponding period of the previous year.
- The first quarter of 2017 has been dominated by the work with developing further the Orio Parts business, where the main actions have been to recruit new customers and - not the least – to increase the Orio Parts portfolio with 35,000 part numbers. Orio now offers, aside from the comprehensive Saab Original assortment, a wide range of parts for 26 of the most common car makes in Sweden, says Jonas Tegström, CEO of Orio AB.
- The Logistics business is progressing according to plan. As a part of attaining to a clearer structure and transparency in the Logistics business, the real estate property formerly owned by the parent company has been sold internally to a wholly owned company of the Orio group. The transaction has entailed a one-off cost for excise duty in the amount of MSEK 7.2, which has been recognized in the income statement during the period, says Jonas Tegström.
- Cash flow from operations for the quarter was MSEK -14 (-10) and the equity ratio per 31 March 2017 was 79 percent (79).
